Default to stake-weighted labels: short label for low-stakes interactions, persistent and visible label for high-stakes ones. Embed provenance metadata alongside human-visible disclosure — not instead of it.
Consent
For clones of third parties, require an affirmative, documented authorization with specific use scope and a default sunset. Treat silent or assumed consent as no consent.
Off-ramps
Every clone product should ship with a one-click pause and a documented destruction process. Inability to wind down a clone is a product defect.
