Executive Digital Twins
Senior leaders are deploying executive digital twins for meetings, decision support, and asynchronous presence. Here is how it actually works in practice.

01What an executive twin is for
An executive twin is not a robot CEO. It is a model that holds the executive's calendar, priorities, communication style, and known decisions, and uses that context to draft, brief, summarize, and stand in for them in low-stakes interactions.
Used well, it reclaims the hours senior leaders lose to ceremony and routine and lets them spend that time on the genuinely hard calls.
02Trust and disclosure
Twin-mediated communication only works if the people on the other end know what they are talking to. The mature practice is explicit labeling — an internal message from the twin reads 'on behalf of', not 'from' — and a clear path to escalate to the human.
Companies that skip the disclosure step quickly discover that an undisclosed twin destroys trust faster than any productivity gain it created.
03Decision support, not decision making
The most durable executive twin patterns treat the twin as a thinking partner. It can pull together the relevant context, surface counterarguments, and simulate how the executive has historically reasoned about a class of problem.
The decision still belongs to the executive. The twin's value is in raising the quality of the inputs.
